Legend of the Lakes Hillclimb

1) Supplementary Regulations will be released this week.  Keep an eye on the website and the Facebook page for the link.  Please take the time to read the Regulations thoroughly and carefully. We have made a tweak to the classes, in particular engine sizes, to a format which aligns to the current era of cars competing.

 

2 ) On Friday July 19th Sponsor Entries will open.  If you wish to take up a Sponsor Package including a three day entry, please talk to Event Director, Kevin Raedel, or Peter Lock before close of business Wednesday July 17th, so we can get you on the entry/sponsor link which will be emailed out.

 

3 ) Entries Open Friday July 26th.  As per last year we are lucky to have Danielle Wiseman back as entry secretary.  She performs this task faultlessly and is extremely busy with this process, so please take the extra few minutes and send all the required documents through to guarantee your best chance of making the entry list.

 

A ) Payment receipt clearly stating surname and Legend's entry as reference.

B ) Motorsport Australia Competition Licence

C ) a valid car club membership proof.

If you are not licenced or membership has lapsed at your club the time to act is NOW, not at 7.30pm on the 26th, or you will find yourself very deep in the reserve list.

 

In light of recent events the 2024 Trident Tyre Centre Legend Of The Lakes Hillclimb committee are strongly promoting and encouraging a roll cage, safety harness, seat, FHR in all vehicles.   We have secured discount from AGI roll cages for bolt in style cages, these start at under $1500 for a half cage to Motorsport Australia specifications.  AMPL Auto are also offering discounts to Legend's entrants for custom cages.  Please if you are thinking about adding safety equipment to your car stop thinking and start the process, there is still time to have a cage before Legend's 2024.
